Experienced Surgeon and ICU Physician Dr. Randall Krawcheck

With over 23 years of medical experience, Dr. Randall Krawcheck has worked as a surgeon and in intensive care. This combination of skills has enabled Dr. Randall Krawcheck to save thousands of lives over the years.

Soon after completing his residency, Randall Krawcheck, DO, joined McGuire Veterans Hospital as the director of the surgical ICU in 2006. He held this position until April 2014. While leading the ICU team, he managed the peri operative care of complex surgical patients.. He also lectured and trained the ICU staff on trauma care, ventilator management, surviving sepsis and critical surgical diagnoses.. During this time he acted as a liaison with the Department of Defense, serving as the surgical manager for active duty engine soldiers, who are members of the wounded warrior battalion.

From 2014 to 2018, Dr. Krawcheck served as the director of the surgical ICU at Charles George Veterans Medical Center. He developed and implemented new ICU protocols to streamline care and improve patient outcomes. Simultaneously, he taught as an associate professor at Duke University, educating residents on critical care and ICU best practices.

Since 2020, Dr. Randall Krawcheck has worked as an intensivist and lead ICU physician at Piedmont Columbus Regional, achieving a 94 percent diagnosis accuracy rate on patient admissions. He coordinates critical care and surgical recovery and mentors ICU staff.
